Today's Movie: Invictus

I was lucky enough to see this movie in the theatre and it was just as wonderful on my TV. It’s a near perfect film from a first time director that’s absolutely intense from the first frame of the film to the last. I'm writing my first feature
That’s right!
Now that I’ve graduated from college and have my next film in the can, I’ve decided to spend the holidays writing my first feature length screenplay. I don’t think this will be Reservoir Dogs or anything, but I think it could turn out pretty cool.

Tonight's Movie: State of Play
A really good political thriller. I enjoyed every bit of it. Ben Affleck was a little too intense at some points and there were a few “Newspaper’s are still relevant” monologues that were a bit over the top, but this movie was great. Well shot, directed and acted. And most surprisingly, Russell Crowe was tolerable.
